God in a Box

t is mistakenly taught by those who think they have the corner on the mystery, that because Paul says it was not until now revealed that absolutely no one could of possibility known the mystery until Paul revealed it.
This is partly true but mostly a false premise and keeps a greater understanding of the knowledge contained in a box.
Jesus knew the mystery in glimpses, this is a glaring, undeniable observation. The spirit and truth fellowship even partly acknowledges this by moving the mystery Christ knew as far as back as after the resurrection. They just don't go far enough.
The Mystery had been revealed partially in such a way that it could not be fully understood that needed to be decoded or deciphered by the Spirit of truth. This is why Nicodemus did not understand being born again of spirit. He did not have spirit holy as Jesus did.
Romans 16:25 and 26 – according to my gospel, and preaching of Jesus Christ. According to the revelation of the Mystery which was kept secret since the world began. They just forgot to add the preaching of Jesus Christ ( before the day of Pentecost) which contains glimpses of the Mystery - must be born of the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom, for your treasure is laid up in heaven I go and prepare a place for you, you shall worship in truth and in spirit, you shall lambano the spirit holy and rivers of living water show flow out of you. These are just a few examples containing glimpses of the mystery. The spirit and truth fellowship dodges these wonderful versus and says that they pertain to the millennial kingdom. That's a bunch of baloney and very disingenuous.
Also of great note: the prophets and apostles Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, didn't write those gospel letters until the time of the Mystery was revealed to Paul,  therefore is no contradiction to say "now" is revealed attributing some teachings of Jesus we're obviously pertaining to the great mystery. Now could also mean this era, age, generation, not always this day at 5:00 pm
Romans 16:26.5 ... Now  made manifest (clearly revealed) by the Scriptures of the prophets - well, was not John a prophet when he wrote " in order to enter the kingdom you must be born of the spirit?" This is part of the Mystery.
Ephesians 3: 5.5 : ... As it is now revealed onto his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit of truth. The spirit of truth was to make known the mystery (all truth it will guide you) and it was written down by the Gospel writers who are apostles and prophets.

Also in the last chapter of Daniel he makes reference to a period in the mystery : of enlightenment ; signs in the stars, a period in which angels will intervene and delay this time of the years and it corresponds with revelation 10 which is also outside of the box. Revelation 10 even has a portion which says – "the end of the mystery has come," can they deny this pertains to the Mystery?
And probably most deceptively, all these years I have been deceived into thinking that when Peter stood up and said this is the prophecy of Joel that it was supposed to be like that and not really pertaining to that prophecy The prophecy of Joel, because it talked about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, I am now convinced that this was revelation pertaining to the day of Pentecost and the Mystery administration without properly being understood or deciphered, but Peter stood up with boldness and clear revelation stating that this was that day that this prophecy was being partially fulfilled. Thus it was Peter who was the Apostle this small part of the Mystery was revealed to and clarified by the spirit of truth in him. Signs in the heavens are coming today and are the rest of the prophecy being fulfilled within that same age of grace or period of the great mystery revealed.
For we do prophesy, we are having visions , we do have the gift of holy spirit and we are getting signs in the heavens.
Paul says also, that  we we know in part and we prophecy in part. This is what Joel and Daniel did.  Prophesied in part what was "Now" fully revealed (with clarity, understanding and glory) to the Apostle Paul.

See Romans 16:25 mystery according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ. Both are revelations of the great mystery.

Also it is not translated "secret" as taught by Truth or tradition but accurately translated mystery. See mystery and secret both in the same verse two different words.

The Second Entry Into Jerusalem

The Second Entry Into Jerusalem

And on the morrow - Jesus saw a fig tree from afar and said it's seed shall forever be no more. Then having selected an ass and a colt he rode into Jerusalem a 2nd time and again the multitudes gathered and cried, " Hosanna, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord," and all the city was moved asking "Who is this Man?" Then he entered the temple and cleansed it by casting out them who sold imperfect sacrifices, just as he, the perfect sacrifice for all mankind, was being selected as the Passover lamb this day in history.

Tradition teaches of one entry into Jerusalem and call it Palm Sunday. From Part One we learned his first entry was really on Friday and now we learn that " On the morrow" indicates the next day from that event and is referring to Saturday, the weekly sabbath.  The gospels reveal time, the circumstances and also importantly, the who, where and what, in order to distinguish truth from error and gives those who wish to rightly divide the Scriptures a greater understanding which is believing rightly in order to give greater efficacy to God's word.

Matt 15:6 You have made the word of God of none effect (of no authoritative power; no efficacy or power to produce a desired result) by your tradition.

This is why there is so little power in the church today. People often ask " What difference does it make? One entry or two, what day of the week he rode in or died? It's the difference between faith and confusion, passion and apathy! God says he magnified his word above all his name, and the love of God rejoices in the truth!* Tradition is man made religion, the truth is spiritual power in manifestation.

Here are the following differences we can reference to distinguish the two events and most importantly, their significance:

First Entry
  1. 1 colt selected to ride in on - entered as king and judgement- Luke 19:29-44; John 12:14-15
  2. It was Friday, the 9th of Nissan - John 12:1; John 12:12
  3. They gathered because word spread of raising Lazarus from the dead - John 12: 9-11
  4. Jesus beheld the city, wept and prophesied of physical ruin of Jerusalem- Luke 19:42-44
  5. He viewed the temple, as spiritually void and corrupt, but left without incident - Mark 11:11
Second Entry
  1. a colt and an ass was selected** -  entered in blessing and as the lamb of God Matt 21:1-7
  2. It was Saturday, the 10th of Nissan, a weekly Sabbath - Mark 11;12 (after events Mark 11:1-11)
  3. A greater gathering for Passover preparation and asked "Who is this man?"- Matt 21:8-11
  4. He prophesied of the spiritual ruin and end of the Jews bloodline forever - Mark 11:13-14
  5. He entered the temple, cast out and cleansed; taught and healed*** Matt 21:12-16; Mark 15-17
Point 4.
The Time and the Seed

We begin the 2nd entry from Mark 11 with the event and it's significance.

Mark 11:12-14
And on the morrow, when they were come from ( apo, away from) Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came. if haply he might find anything thereon; and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet. Jesus responded by saying to it (the tree) "No man shall eat fruit from you ever again." And his disciples heard it.

"On the morrow" indicates time and is following the events of the first entry the day before. This establishes the day is Saturday, the weekly sabbath day, and the date as the 10th of Nissan. The 'who' are Jesus and his disciples, not just the twelve.

The significance of the 2nd part of this verse is so profoundly revealing yet scholars have missed it and failed to properly connect it's meaning. His first entry he wept over viewing the city of Jerusalem and prophesied of it's total demise and ruin physically. Here, he foretells of the end of Israel (the Jews) spiritually and their seed (fruit) would 'Be no more forever." This he foretells again the following day in Matthew 21:18 -19 on Sunday:

Now in the morning as he hungered, he saw a fig tree on the way and came to it and found nothing but leaves only. He said to it ( the tree) 'Let no fruit grow on thee henceforth forever. And presently (right away) the fig tree withered away and died.

How remarkable, it withered immediately as opposed to withering the following day as the other account of the fig tree which makes these two records similar but not identical. And in God's word twice establishes it, it's absolutely going to happen. What's going to happen? The end of the fruit, the seed, the offspring, the generations or genealogy of the Jews!

Let's break it down. The fig tree was considered the peoples tree and anyone could freely partake of it. Also, the fig tree represented Israel's status before God.* "And thirdly "the time for figs was not yet." Jesus knew this, he was not stupid and he was a Jew. At this time of year there would be buds of the fruit which were sweet and tasted like candy. He was hungry for a sweet. But there were no buds. Hence, by revelation God revealed to him as he spoke to the fig tree on both occasions, that this was the final end of the mercy to the Jews and their seed would be destroyed forever after rejecting the Son of God. This is symbolic also as he " Saw the tree from afar," he saw into the distant future. The fruit represents 'Seed ' and that is what determined the definition of a Jew or Israelite, their genealogy on the male side. They were the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This is why the Bible on numerous occasions lists the genealogy. ** For a more detailed explanation see Are The Jews Extinct?

Point 1
The Two Animals of Prophecy: The Bride and Groom

Matt  21:1-2
And when they drew near unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethage, unto the Mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples saying " Go into the village over against you , and straightway you shall find an ass tied and a colt with her, loose them and bring them unto me."

Here Jesus asked for two animals. This record is different from the previous one the day before on Friday, the 9th of Nissan. Jesus is about to make a second entry into Jerusalem.

Matt 21:4-5
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet saying, " Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold thy king cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, AND a colt the foal of an ass.

This detail completely separates the two events by stating time and distinguishing it with two animals, not one as on the previous entry. Tradition has for centuries tried to make similar events identical. Bible commentaries always take tradition and try to manipulate or squeeze the word into that religious box in order to fit. We must approach the word outside of the box, stand back, and approach it with a fresh view and be guided by the spirit as we discern truth from error. When you do this the daily epiphanies will empower you!!

Here is one example of an epiphany and the significance. Why a second entry? In Zechariah there is prophecy of a king entering Jerusalem with two animals.

Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion, shout, O daughter: behold, thy King cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Jesus was riding into Jerusalem on an ass (female mother) as the Groom bringing a Colt (foal of an ass) FOR HIS BRIDE!! It was a wedding invitation! Israel was to be his bride as the colt was for her to ride and an invitation for her to be wed! Israel was referred to as "daughter" for a reason. Today's church is not the bride, we are the body of Christ. How can you be the body of the groom and the bride of the groom at the same time? Israel is the bride of Christ but the wedding was held in abeyance to be resumed after his return, the resurrection ( not the same as rapture for church) of Israel (Ez: 37) and the restoration of Paradise. (Rev 19:7-9) See The Bride of Christ. The day before was one animal as he inspected the bride. He wept for his bride! What a glorious revelation and how wonderfully God's word fits into this unfolding drama.

Point 2-3
Behold The Passover Lamb

We've already established that these events followed the next day "on the morrow" Mark 11:12, making this day Saturday, the 10th of Nissan and the weekly Sabbath day. Now another event of major significance is about to take place. The selection of the Passover lamb. As the crowd gathered a second time the atmosphere was somewhat different.

Matt 21:8-11
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way, others cut down branches from the trees and strewed them along the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying Hosannah to the Son of David; Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord, Hosannah in the highest.

The day before the word had spread and they gathered to see the man who had raised Lazarus from the dead. This entry they were moved wondering who this man was.

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying. "Who is this man?" And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Filled with more people arriving for Passover week, the city was moved alright, and for good reason. This day, at this very moment they were witnessing the mighty move of the Spirit of God selecting his son Jesus as the final Passover lamb. The 10th of Nissan was the day designated for Israel's selection of the Passover lamb. How remarkable. They were seeing the perfect lamb. the one without spot or blemish. God's timing is a wonder of awe.

I Corinthians 5:7
...For Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.

Now let's connect another amazing truth that shatters tradition. The lamb to be chosen for the Passover had to be without spot or blemish and also a lamb of the First Year. In the gospel of John there are two Passovers mentioned. The one that occurred a few days after Jesus' baptism by John and the one at his crucifixion. (The other gospels only mention the one at crucifixion). That would make the time between his baptism and this day of the 2nd entry one year. His baptism also marked the beginning of his ministry, legally could only occur at the age between twenty nine and thirty according to Jewish law. John also foresaw this lamb of the first year.

John 1:29
The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God which bears and takes away the sin of the world.

On the very day Jesus was baptized by John and declared to be the Lamb of God was also the 10th of Nissan, ( for a short time later - and the Jews Passover was at hand and Jesus went up to Jerusalem Jn 2:13), exactly one year to the day prior to Jesus being selected as our Passover lamb fulfilling the law of being a male lamb of the first year! His earthly ministry was ONE YEAR! Not three and a half years as tradition has embedded into everyone's thinking. See The Acceptable Year of the Lord. How remarkable when you think of all he said and accomplished in that one glorious year that would change the history of the entire world forever.

Point 5
The Cleansing of the Temple.

The first entry he entered the temple and merely looked around then left.

Matt 21:12-13
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mark 11:15-1

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.***

Jesus was familiar with the tradition of the Temple market, situated in the outer courts of the Temple. The merchants exchanged money and sold wine, salt, oil, sacrificial animals, and other necessities used by the worshippers. The market was a lucrative place for business for both the merchants and the religious leaders. That was not the sin - Jesus objected to the poor quality of goods and animals sold as first rate and clean sacrifices. The sin was the corruption and hypocrisy, they were being dishonest and had become a den of thieves. The selling of polluted bread and crippled or flawed animals went against God's word.

Malachi 1:7-8
Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts.
Matt 21:14-15
And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

When Jesus came and cleansed the Temple and properly prepared it for the coming Passover, then healed the people, it was foreshadowing the coming cleansing on the inside of every believer. And the Temple became the body of Christ, first physically then spiritually.

Matt 1:1
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

To baptize means to cleanse or purify. John was water baptizing with water in the Jordan river, a cleansing on the outside. A mightier work was coming, spiritual baptism or cleansing on the inside where it was truly God's intent for mankind to become His place to dwell.  Water doesn't save anyone. It's God and his gift of holy spirit**** that cleanses with fire on the inside which is mightier. It's on the inside that counts spiritually.

Matt 23:28
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

God through his Son was preparing and cleansing the Temple, a permanent place for Him to dwell.

John 2:19-21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.  When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Acts 17:24
God who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands.

Ephesians 2:21-22
In whom all the building fitly framed together grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom YOU are being jointly built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit!

The cleansing of the temple was symbolic of God preparing a new spiritual place in which to dwell that pleases him. The body of Christ has become the new living temple (not the bride) because of His own Son's sacrifice once and for ALL! Heb 9:25-28. It was cleansed not with water baptism or animal sacrifices, but with his own sinless blood. The blood of the Lamb of God declared to the whole world on this 2nd entry into Jerusalem.

By studying the Gospels together with the principle of narrative development, one can understand that the passage of Luke covers a passage of time without relating the time factors involved is characteristic of the Gospels, especially Luke. He continually collapses time.
